is an amateur dramatic society that was founded in 1945 by Reg Moxom, with the first performance taking place in April 1946.
We rehearse on Mondays and Fridays (7.30-10pm) at the Fairways Brookfield Unit. Our shows usually take place at Goffs Oak Village Hall.
We generally perform four productions a year, in the months of January, April, July and October. We perform a variety of shows including full-length plays, one-act plays, pantomimes, sketches, and some musical-based performances.
We are a very welcoming society and always try to get people involved as soon as possible. Currently, we have about 50 members. However, there is more to CDS than acting on stage, if you are a budding photographer, make-up artist, painter or carpenter then you are needed! Go to our Join Us page to find out how you could be an asset to CDS.
Also, the group has a very active social life and attend many events together, see our News & Events section to find out more.
